Polypropylene has been notoriously hard to work with for those in the industry. This is very unfortunate because the features of this fiber line up directly with what makes a great surf liner. However after test after test we have become able to utilize this tricky material. Aside from the spandex this highly insulative, highly hydrophobic, highly antibacterial fabric is comprised of 100% polypropylene. This fabric exhibits extremely high stretch, rejects water absorbtion, and perhaps most noticably is extremely light. This fabric is lighter than water.
